What Is Accessible?

All Administrative Law Judge decisions can be searched. Decisions are updated biweekly . The next sechuled update will be on February 28, 2007 and will include decisions meeting the above criteria through February 15, 2007 The following cases cannot be searched due to confidentiality statutes:

Free Text v. Boolean Search

For most purposes, "free text" is a good first option to search for terms. That is the text search default.

The Boolean option requires search operators. To conduct a Boolean search, one of the following "search operators" must appear between each word or phrase: AND, OR, NEAR, NOT. A phrase must be in quotes.

To correlate agency action with a text search, use the following in the boolean option:

1. Agency accepts: aaccep or aaccepedit and (whatever your terms are). 2. Agency rejects: aarej of aarejedit and (whatever your terms are).

3. Agency accepts, but modifies a fact or conclusion of law: aamendf or amendfedit and (whatever your terms are).

4. Agency accepts, but amends the order: aamend or aamendedit and (whatever your terms are).

5. Agency accepts and may or may not have amended the order: aaccep or aaccepedit or aamend or aamendedit and (whatever your terms are).

6. Agency accepts and may or may not have amended a finding of fact or clonclusion of law: aaccep or aaccepedit or aamendf or amendfedit and (whatever your terms are).

7. Agency accepts and may or may not have amended the order or changed a fact or conclusion of law: aaccep or aaccepedit or aamend or aamendedit or aamendf or amendfedit and (whatever your terms are).
